Interior Condition and Security

Examine the overall condition of home for signs of forced entry, vandalism, or anything unusual.
Observe home environment, including temperature, humidity, and odor.
Visual inspection for leaks from windows, ceilings, and doors.
Check for water leakage from internal sources such as large appliances, water heater.
Ensure all doors and windows are secure.
Inspect for signs of forced entry.
Check that chimney flue is closed to prevent heat loss and pests.
Check security system is functioning.

Temperature and Humidity Control

Verify furnace or HVAC system is functioning.
Ensure temperature and humidity settings are within desired parameters.
Change filters, as requested.

Plumbing

Run all faucets and showers.
Flush all toilets.
Run garbage disposal.
Inspect all fixtures for visible leaks.
Check water heater functionality.
Inspect sump pump for proper functioning.

Appliance and Electrical

Verify proper functioning of essential appliances: Refrigerators, freezer.
